To bring the students (mainly those who play wind instruments) closer to the music of the great jazz orchestras of the ’20s and ’30s. However, given its diversity, the group allows to venture into more modern styles and find the characteristic sound and color of a great jazz ensemble (orchestra) in different techniques such as funk, Bossa Nova, and other genres.
This group participates in solemn sessions, concerts, flag raising, and invitations from institutions other than the school. A certain instrumental level is required; for this reason, an audition will be held.
