Intermediate school comprises grades 5 through 8 and represents the transition from elementary school to high school. The courses increase their academic load with new subjects such as history, geography, biology, physics, and chemistry during these years. The middle school teachers accompany the students in this transition to adolescence and are familiar with this age’s challenges.
They work as a team with the course directors, the School Support Department, the Rectory, and the parents to support the students academically and accompany their personal and emotional development during these years.
Intermediate classes are designed to reinforce autonomy and responsibility for one’s learning. Through group work and projects, creativity and social skills are strengthened. With the help of differentiation methods, teachers adapt their classes for all levels to enhance the abilities of each student.
