The Colegio Andino - Deutsche Schule Bogotá (founded in 1922) is a German School of Excellence Abroad (recognition granted in 2008, 2014 and 2022) supported by the Federal Republic of Germany that promotes the German and Colombian language and culture.

We are a trilingual bicultural place of encounter. A school of academic excellence that encourages students to discover their interests and develop their talents and abilities.

Our students achieve outstanding proficiency in German and English, certified through the Spachdiplom and the Cambridge certification. From the first year of primary school, they begin their immersion in English playfully while they write and read in Spanish and German.

Students graduate with the Colombian baccalaureate as well as the German international baccalaureate Abitur if they so choose.

We encourage critical thinking, interest in research, autonomy, cultural and sports development, and social and environmental responsibility.

We have an infrastructure where our students can intensively develop their sports, musical, and artistic skills.

We are a solid community founded on respect, commitment, and the active participation of the different entities that make it up. We value differences and enrich ourselves through them.

And most importantly, we form human beings who contribute to society.
