Certifications MIE Expert 2021-22

The Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Expert program is an exclusive program created to recognize innovative teachers, that are constantly learning, growing, and working together to transform the way of teaching and build a better world.

What is the role of an MIE Expert?

  • MIE Experts have adopted teaching and learning from the 21st century, they take risks and try to improve their teaching to integrate technological tools that improve their students’ results.
  • They think that failure is an opportunity to reflect and learn.
  • They view the MIE Expert community as a valuable community of professional learning that helps them continue improving their own practice.
  • They are viewed as a leader in their school and school system.
  • They provide coaching/ tutoring to other teachers and support their growth.
  • They associate with directors and school leaders in the transformation of the school/ system.
