Home » Microsoft Expert Experience: From track to home
The main idea of this project consisted in making an initial diagnosis of the physical condition at the beginning of the school year. For this we made some physical tests that the students had to perform and record the data in an Excel chart to have this initial control. This activity was performed virtually.
The second part consisted of making channels with small groups that had a physical condition topic assigned, such as: warming up, stretching, abdominal strength, upper body strength, lower body strength. We gave them reference material to perform and learn these exercises to share with the whole classroom.
Once the material was shared with all the classroom, the students created a personal routine supervised by the teacher and presented to the group. This routine would be the guide to improve their physical condition throughout the year.
At mid school year and at the end, a control took place using the physical condition test to show the processes of each.
This methodology enabled the students to perform exercise routines supervised by the teacher in an autonomous way, so they could perform physical activity at home and control their progress throughout the year.
