PASCH
PASCH is the acronym for the “Schools, Partners for the Future” initiative, which interconnects more than 2,000 schools worldwide, in which German is especially relevant. It is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with the Central of Schools Abroad (ZfA), the Goethe-Institut (GI), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and the Pedagogical Exchange Service (PAD) of the Permanent Conference of the Ministers of Culture of the Federal States of Germany (KMK).
Auslandsschule
Exzellente Deutsche Auslandsschule

WDA
The World Association of German Schools Abroad (WDA) represents German schools’ independent and non-profit school associations abroad and unites their individual identities into one stronger voice. The Association supports its members in their work and promotes their projects through specific services. The WDA represents common interests before politicians and funding agencies. It is the contact point for foreign cultural and educational policy and, at the same time, plays an active role in its shaping.
The World Association has 137 members, 114 of which are German schools recognized abroad. Supporting the future together – is the motto of the World Association of German Schools Abroad.
KMK
According to the German constitution, each Land is independent in terms of education and culture. The Permanent Conference of the Ministers of Culture of the Federal States of Germany (abbreviated KMK) ensures consensus on national scope issues. At the Conference, the ministers coordinate policy and develop quality standards for school, professional, and university training. The KMK represents the Federated States before the Central Government and the European Union.
