On December 6th, we celebrate the day of St. Nicholas, a very generous bishop who spent his life helping the neediest families, and in the evenings, he would leave little bags of food at the door of the house.
Today, on the evening of December 5-6, children leave their clean shoes and boots or a plate in front of the door, and St. Nicholas leaves them chocolates, tangerines, nuts, and cookies. In kindergarten, Nikolaus visits the children on this date and brings them some surprises.
