Home » Basic motor skills: visuomotor coordination in virtuality supported with technological tools
In this grade I undertook a project named “Applying action motor circuits at home”. This project consists of creating several exercises in one activity to captivate the students’ attention, because due to their age, they need a variety of activities and elements that help them improve their basic motor skills. This project also involved the students’ families that are important in the children’s growth process.
The activities were very simple and with materials that the kids could use in their own homes. Solving problems and innovating were also part of my project, because like in any project, and due to my students’ age, there were several motor problems and lack of support at home. I had to create follow-up strategies so my students could achieve the proposed goals with this activity. These were: extra group classes, more support from the teacher, individual video calls and sending videos to the students to complement the classwork.
Besides this experience, I could apply all the knowledge provided by Colegio Andino’s training program, so we could have a great opportunity of increasing our knowledge in the ICT use in the classroom.
