My experience arises form the need to connect with the children from Colegio Andino’s Kindergarten to learn under a difficult circumstance: quarantines due to pandemic.

The children have been with us a short time in daycare and little by little they start to learn their first words in German. By repetition, showing and naming, we help the children learn German.

In my classroom project for the MIE Expert Certification, I show how by using PowerPoint I can develop games with them, for example “the crazy bottle”.

In this game, all the children repeat the vocabulary in a fun way and get the first understanding of how to use the microphone. They learn that it is important to turn it off so that all of them can listen to the kid whose turn it is and we practice a lot together. With this game I achieve that each child has his/her turn and gets attention.
