Our Admissions Process
In Colegio Andino we have two options for being admitted:
1.Andinitos: Children that are born between September 1st, 2021, and August 31st, 2022.
Was your child born between September 1st and 30th of 2022?
We have implemented the German modality “Kann Kind””, that is an option for the children who do not meet the date interval. They have the possibility of applying in an alternate process.

Two cultures, three languages
We are a meeting place. Our students experience every day Geman and Colombian cultures, strengthening their tolerance and empathy, learning their own cultural identities and preparing themselves for a multicultural society. Our students have the Our students have the possibility of attaining two degrees: German High School Diploma (Abitur) and Colombian High School Diploma.

Our Kindergarten
Grow Up concept in the classrooms
The main classroom has 4 learning corners (math, reading, construction and creativity). There are other functional classrooms that encourage children to engage in different activities in an independent way, so the classroom transforms into a third teacher.
Our classrooms are designed so children will feel as if they were outdoors.
Naturtag (Nature Day)
During the first three years of School, contact with nature and playing are important learning tools through which children acquire abilities and skills that will be the foundation of the next school stages.
In Andino, nature is part of our daily lives.
Educational materials from Germany
In their classrooms, our children have material and furniture brought from Germany that is specifically designed for every development stage. This way, they learn through tactile means that help improve their motor skills.1. Registry
2. Get to know Andino
The Open Doors Day
The Open Doors Day is an opportunity to get to know our educational concept and walk through the School’s facilities with our High School students. It is very important for School that the Aspiring Parents participate this day.
This year, we have two dates available.
- Thursday, September 26 . From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Thursday, November 21. 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
* We consider that it is important for the Parents to come so they will get to know our School in depth.

Educational conference “Nature in pedagogy”
Sonja Kiener, Director of Kindergarten, will present a virtual conference where she will explain the importance of contact with nature in children’s development.

3. Administrative Process
This process will take place between September 16 and November 8 and costs $150,000. It can be paid via PSE once the documents have been sent.

This is a virtual or face-to-face space only for parents.
* This meeting is only for the Parents.
5. Process Response
We will be answering the admission request 2025 – 2026 through email to the applicants of Andinitos and Prekindergarten.

¿You were not able to go to our Open Doors Day?
We have designed a personalized space where the Admissions Director gives a tour through School’s facilities with maximum three families per day.
These tours take place from Monday to Thursday, starting at 9:10 a.m. (2 hours).
