For more than 100 years Colegio Andino has been educating students with academic excellence, global vision, and comprehensive well-being. We are a bicultural and trilingual institution (Spanish, German and English) that prepares its students to navigate multicultural contexts by strengthening their critical thinking, autonomy, responsibility and human development.

Throughout their education, students experience unique opportunities such as the Sommercamp in Germany in 6th grade, the student exchange to Germany in 9th grade, an extensive sports offering, and more than 60 extracurricular activities that promote their talents, interests, and skills.

We are aware that choosing your children’s school can be a stressful process. For this reason, our commitment is to guide you in every step and help you enjoy and learn as a family during this key decision.

Registration
Colegio Andino wants to go hand in hand with you on each step of the Admissions Process, so it will be an enriching experience for the whole family.
The first step is to fill out the Admissions Process Registration Form of Colegio Andino. Once you are registered, you will start receiving important and personalized information about the steps you should follow during the process.

Open Doors Day
The Open Doors Day is an opportunity to get to know our educational approach and to walk through School’s facilities guided by High School Students. The School considers it is very important that prospective parents attend this day.
By filling out the Admissions Process Registration Form (RUPA), you will be automatically registered to participate in the Open Doors Day of Colegio Andino. If you still have not registered, you can do it here.
Dates:
- First Open Doors Day: September 24th, 2026
- Second Open Doors Day: November 5th, 2026
- Third Open Doors Day: February 25th, 2027

Administrative Process
- Fill out the online admission application
The platform for the Online Admission Application will be open from Wednesday, June 24th. We will be sending a reminder some days prior to this date.
Note: it is required to have previously filled out the Admissions Process Registration Form (RUPA) to start the admissions process.
- Upload the documents to our website.
The documents must be uploaded to our website as a PDF or JPG, organized in separate files between June 24th and October 2nd, 2026.

Getting to know the family
- Play Day
This day is designed so that the parents participate with the prospective student. Both parents are required to attend this activity.
Keep in mind that once you upload the documents, School will send you an invitation to the Play Day. This in-person activity takes place in School’s facilities, from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Parent Interview
This is a virtual or face to face session that is exclusively for the Parents. The date and time of the interview may be chosen by the parents, according to a pre-established calendar that is shared by School. * This meeting is only for the Parents.
Admissions Process Response
The response to the admissions process of 2027 – 2028 will be sent by email.

Our Kindergarten Director gives the parents a personalized orientation as part of the Admissions Process:
- They have participated in the Open Doors Day but need more information to decide if they start the Admissions Process in our Kindergarten.
- One of the parents, or both, are former students and they are thinking about enrolling their child in Colegio Andino but they would like to know more about the changes in the educational approach in Kindergarten.
- Every child and family are different. They are not sure about what type of school, educational approach or language is more appropriate for their child.
- They have a special family situation (work change, transfer, illness, divorce, far away residence….) and they need personalized advice regarding school election and the best moment for their child to start school.
- They are worried about topics such as the distance to School, the importance of German, the size of School, etc. and would like to learn about previous experiences.
- They have received an acceptance letter from School, but they need more information before accepting the spot.

We are a meeting place. Our students experience every day Geman and Colombian cultures, strengthening their tolerance and empathy, learning their own cultural identities and preparing themselves for a multicultural society. Our Kindergarten
Grow Up concept in the classrooms
The main classroom has 4 learning corners (math, reading, construction and creativity). There are other functional classrooms that encourage children to engage in different activities in an independent way, so the classroom transforms into a third teacher.
Our classrooms are designed so children will feel as if they were outdoors.
Naturtag (Nature Day)
During the first three years of School, contact with nature and playing are important learning tools through which children acquire abilities and skills that will be the foundation of the next school stages.
In Andino, nature is part of our daily lives.
Educational materials from Germany
In their classrooms, our children have material and furniture brought from Germany that is specifically designed for every development stage. This way, they learn through tactile means that help improve their motor skills.
¿You were not able to go to our Open Doors Day?
We have designed a personalized space where the Admissions Director gives a tour through School’s facilities with maximum three families per day.
These tours take place from Monday to Thursday, starting at 9:10 a.m. (2 hours).
