Lernen lernen (learning to learn) is two hours per week in 5th and 6th grade. The objective of this subject is the promotion and consolidation of essential learning and self-management skills in the students.
Training in tools and strategies for self-management and executive functions. For example, management or organization of the locker, workplace, notebook, folders, etc.
Encouragement and development of study habits and strategies necessary for students to take responsibility for their learning process. For example, note-taking, reading strategies, how to study for an exam, etc.
Training in emotional control and stress management strategies. For example, breathing techniques, conflict resolution tools, etc.
